Our Patience Assembly - By Mele
On Friday we were inside the hall. We were waiting patiently in the hall. It was our class assembly. Our virtue was “Patience”. All of the classes came to our assembly at the hall. I started the prayer first. When I was finished it was Alicia’s turn to say her prayer. She was talking loudly in her prayer. When Alicia was finished it was me, Joshua and Kalolaine. When they all finished the children were reading their Holy Spirit prayers to everyone. Then it was Paul’s turn to read his prayer. All of the children were watching our slide show. The whole school liked our slideshow. The parents and children were all clapping. Seuati was reading his prayer. After that the first role-play was a line-up. Joshua was giving out the books while I was counting down. Some of the boys were fighting at the back of the line. They did not remember our virtue is Patience. The next role-play was driving. Ezra said, “We are going to the zoo today.” Kalolaine said, “Remember to put your seatbelt on.” Rosalina and Asipeli were reading their prayers. When they finished Rosalina said, “Mr Coakly can you please give out the certificates.” Then Mrs Pole gave out the caught being good vouchers. I was very happy for our assembly.
